Le roman a été traduit en quarante langues et une adaptation cinématographique a été réalisée par Luchino Visconti en 1967.

Here's what I think if you see L'etranger as a "product", what can I possibly offer you? Rate it? It is a world classic and, yes, it is better in French.
I needed this for my French advanced reading. It worked out well enough for virtually three dollars. Thank you or should I say Merci!
I am an intermediate-level French student, and I found L'Étranger difficult but comprehensible. The edition is wonderful on my Fire with a black backscreen and larger print.

An eerily real and tragically beautiful story of a man and his place in society and the world. What is right and wrong?
J'aimé cette oeuvre. Le titre est bien choisi car Mersault est un étranger à nous tous et à lui même. La personalité froide du protagoniste est très bien accompagné par le style literaire de Camus. Ils vont de pair.
Bought it to start practicing French. I went with Camus as I already know the story in Spanish.
The book itself is really well done. The content is crude and sometimes it is exhausting as you feel you are seeing through the eyes of the character who lives a very passive life, not caring for anybody.
Should be part of any educational program.
